Documenting your growing family is important to me! Having three young daughters of my own, I truly understand how quickly this time flies by. One day we are, as mothers, in the messy/nursing/yoga pants/baby-boo stage, then in a flash we’re talking to that same child about taking the bus and sleepovers! Sigh.

What this means? Have your family photographed: outside, in your home, or in my studio! Wherever you feel comfortable, calm, and whole. You are investing in 20 years of experience working with families at every stage of life. I hope to be your family’s photographer not only now, but in the coming years as well! No In-Person Sales Sessions, or minimum print purchases required.

why do a maternity session?

I offer both Mini and Full maternity sessions. Mini sessions are 45 minutes on-location in your home, outdoors, or in the studio and are $225 for the session fee. The mini session can also be part of a bigger collection as an add-on to a newborn session.
The full session is 90 minutes, a $350 session fee (this fee does not include digitals) and allows for multiple outfit changes, hairdos, locations and more images to choose from!

Call as soon as you can to schedule your maternity session! Maternity sessions are typically scheduled between 30 - 34 weeks, but can be done anytime after that as well. If you are expecting multiples, often we do this between 25 - 28 weeks.

The extended Fresh 48 Newborn/Coming Home Session is a 45 minute portrait session to document everything about this fleeting time: those new little fingers and toes, snuggles with daddy, tender moments with mama, and siblings meeting baby for the first time!

why birth photography?

Let’s set up a time to talk on the phone or zoom and talk about your story, your hopes for your birth and answer all your questions about birth photography! The bottom line, this experience deserves more than any other to be photographed…and it is YOURS. My goal is always to hold space for you and quietly capture it all. 

THE EXPERIENCE

Birth coverage includes my undivided attention and on-call service from 38 weeks until baby is born. That means I don’t travel, I don’t leave town, I am all yours, available at any time of day. There are a few packages available, starting at $1450, and all include: a consultation, a 20 minute micro maternity session (for mama only) with one 8x10 fine art print, on-call unlimited coverage of your birth including 90 minutes postpartum, 5 announcement images within 24 hours to share, automatic digital download from your birth available from your private online gallery.

LIFESTYLE NEWBORN

Your investment includes 2-3 hours of photography in the comfort of your home. The $275 session fee also includes time and talent, 15 years of experience with new moms and newborns, and an online gallery for viewing and sharing. **Digitals are an additional investment.**

I encourage you to schedule your newborn session as soon as you are ready to tell the world you are pregnant! But if you have had a difficult time getting pregnant or had loss, sometimes it takes us longer to commit to investing in a session like this; trust me, I understand, and trust me…you deserve to have this time documented. Let yourself feel the anticipation of joy!

As soon as your session(s) contract is signed and paid for I will send you information on what to wear and how to prepare. Us mamas have to stick together - and I want you to look and feel fabulous!

FAMILIES

I pour myself into creating images of you and your children that you will cherish forever, not just this year. I offer full family sessions on-location in your home or outdoors that are one hour of playing, wandering, connecting, creating; the full session allows us to all relax and let down - that is where the magic happens and those candid moments that you love are captured. This session fee is $275. **Digitals are an additional investment.**

I also offer Limited Edition mini sessions on occasion, announced on social media - join my private Facebook group: "Tara Photography VIP Mamas" and follow me on Instagram. Please inquire for all the details!

Full family sessions are scheduled Monday through Thursday evenings and some weekend days. Most families schedule their session about 2-3 months in advance to get their first choice on a session date and time, but inquire anytime and I will get you on the schedule asap!

Be comfortable, be YOU! Let your family show it’s personality! When you are all set with your contract and payment I always send along info on how to prepare and what to wear, I’ve got you!

MILESTONE SESSIONS

The Mini Milestone Session is perfect for your baby's milestones within the first year of their life! These can be scheduled at any milestone that feels special to you, there are so many: Grabbing toes milestone around 4-5 months, Sitting up milestone around 6 months, Crawling, Walking, and the First Birthday! Sessions can be booked in my downtown Dover, NH studio, at your home, or outdoor location. 

what is a milestone?

Reach out to me anytime and I will get you on the calendar! Best to contact me 3-4 weeks in advance to get priority on a date and time, but I always make time for these shorter sessions.

when do i schedule a milestone session?

I offer these classic sessions most often in downtown Dover, NH studio located at 15 Fourth St. I opened my studio in April 2023 and have spent hundreds of hours both curating the space as well as documenting milestones for little ones from all over New England! 

where can i do my milestone session?

I offer a First Year Package that includes your Newborn session, 2 Mini Milestone Sessions and a 1 year old session, please contact me for all the details! 
A Mini Milestone Session is 20 minutes, for the little one only; the session fee is $195 and includes 3 digitals, with the option to invest in more!  Curious about doing a mini milestone and adding in some sibling photos, I have a package for that!
