What an incredible night in Rye, NH last night!!! Megan and Joe drove all the way up from their home in Uxbridge, MA to meet up for dinner and an engagement session. We hadn’t had the chance to meet yet, and this was a great way to practice being comfortable in front of the camera – and get to know me; I spend more time with the bride on her wedding day than most anyone else that day! We started at the Atlantic Grill in Rye (delish!!!) and then hopped over to a secret spot in Rye to snap some portraits of them together and, coincidentally, get eaten alive by teeny tiny black flies. But we persevered and got some great shots!
Megan and Joe have been together since high school, true sweethearts. They are both passionate dog-lovers (they volunteer for a wonderful rescue league Pawfect Life Rescue League), weekend hikers, and love Loon Mountain just as much as I do – they will be getting married there this August! It was so fun to show them a new place to come adventure with their doggie in the future, and to learn more about their interests and how much they adore each other! Stay tuned in early September to see their wedding day images from the top of Loon Mountain in Lincoln, NH!
